Light & Shadow was constructed with wooden dowels, cut at various angles and heights, and secured to a base. Goose-neck lights are attached on each side for the viewer to manipulate and change the angle, proximity, and color of the light shining across the dowels. A key goal with the production of this piece was to create a piece of artwork that highlighted the profound impact of light AND allowed the viewer to manipulate that light to produce a highly personalized experience.
