Dynamic Light was created with 100 hollow acrylic dowel rods secured at various angles and depths in a resin base. LED lights are wrapped around the perimeter of the resin base, but carefully concealed by a wooden frame. The LED lights are programmable and can change between 16 different colors. Much like Light & Space, the result is an Other-worldly, ephemeral, & mesmerizing experience for the viewer. Light, again, is the dominant medium and the clear resin and acrylic rods act as as means to showcase the many aesthetically pleasing qualities of light.
